Thanksgivukkah: Brace yourself for the holiday duo

Hanukkah

If you have Thanksgivukkah fever:
Hanukkah and Thanksgiving won’t coincide again for another 79,000 years or so. Celebrate the occasion with a Menurkey (a turkey-shaped menorah, $50) from menurkey.com. One-day express shipping is available if you’re in a pinch.

If you need one place to buy it all:
Rosenblum’s World of Judaica (9153 Gross Point Road, Skokie, 800-626-6536, alljudaica.com) is open until 5 p.m. on the first night of Hanukkah and has something for everyone on your list. A few of our faves for wee ones: a KidKraft Hanukkah Playset ($42), “Sammy Spider’s First Hanukkah” ($7.15) and other books and a “Shalom Sesame Street Hanukkah” DVD ($15).

Big kids will get a kick out of the Bananagrams word game in Hebrew ($20). The store stocks a big assortment of menorahs and dreidels and plenty of chocolate gelt, too.

If the latkes are already in the frying pan and you need a gift now:
Trusty amazon.com offers electronic gift cards with Happy Hanukkah designs, available for immediate delivery to your recipient’s inbox or for printing.
