SILVIS, Ill. -- Brian Harman fired a 5-under 66 on Sunday as he hung on for a 1-stroke victory at the John Deere Classic.
Harman collected his first career win on the PGA Tour at 22-under-par 262. With the victory, Harman earned the final spot up for grabs for the British Open next week.
Zach Johnson, who won this event in 2012, carded a 7-under 64 during his final round at TPC Deere Run to finish alone in second place at 21-under 263.
Jhonattan Vegas (65) and Jerry Kelly (66) shared third at 19-under, while Tim Clark (67) and Scott Brown (68) tied for fifth at minus-18.
Jordan Spieth (66), the 2013 champion, Bo Van Pelt (65), Ryan Moore (68) and Johnson Wagner (68) shared seventh at 16-under 268. Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
