Forward Jessica Breland will appear in her first All-Star Game as a reserve, joining forward Elena Delle Donne as the only representatives from the Sky squad.
Breland is having a career year so far, averaging 11.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game after failing to make a WNBA roster in 2012.
"Being named an All-Star is an experience that every player dreams of and I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to play with some of the greatest players in the world,” Breland said in a statement. “Reflecting on everything that I’ve overcome makes this honor even more special for me.”
The Sky (8-13) continue their road trip Thursday against the Indiana Fever at 6 p.m.
The All-Star Game is on July 19.
