The veteran hasn't skated in four days after suffering an upper-body injury and missed the Hawks' 3-2 shootout loss to the Boston Bruins on Saturday night. Hossa was on the ice for the Hawks' morning skate Tuesday at Jobing.com Arena and skated on a line with Daniel Carcillo and center Patrick Kane.
"I feel the best I've felt in the last four days so that's a great sign," Hossa said. "I really hope I'm going to play (Tuesday night). I'll see how it affects me a few hours after practice. I really hope it's going to be good and I believe it's going to be good because I feel good. (Monday) I felt a little worse but today is another day--an extra day to rest and there was no issue."
