Life in jail

This is one of the first pieces of art Jerry Hobbs sent to his mother JoAnn Hobbs, after he was locked up in the Lake County Jail in Waukegan, Ill., in 2005, accused of murdering his 8-year-old daughter, Laura, and her 9-year-old friend, Krystal Tobias in 2005. Hobbs was released from jail Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, after DNA linked the killings to another man, authorities said.
