Walter Huston

Movie star Walter Huston, Feb. 21, 1931. A former engineer, Huston became one of the most respected actors of the 'talkie' movie era and won a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948). Huston's family has also had success in the movies. His son is actor and director John Huston and grandchildren include actors Tony Huston, Anjelica Huston, Danny Huston, and Allegra Huston.
