Neda Agha Soltan

An undated ID card picture posted on the Internet on Monday shows Iranian Neda Agha Soltan, who was reportedly killed when hit by a bullet during a protest in Tehran. A video showing the young woman bleeding to death was put online on June 20 and has since been viewed hundreds of thousands of times around the world. Riot police fired tear gas to break up an opposition rally in Tehran on Monday, reportedly called to pay tribute to Neda, witnesses said, as demonstrators defied a warning from the Revolutionary Guards that it would crush further protests over the disputed presidential election.
