Stop at South Third and Campbell streets and shop at the Arts & Crafts Show, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9. The event features more than 75 exhibitors from Illinois and other states.
"All types of contemporary arts and original crafts will be showcased," says Karen Yackley, show coordinator.
Brad Millard from Escanaba, Mich., brings his unique birdbaths and copper sprinklers. Just over the border in Wisconsin, Kevin Johnson hailing from Fennimore and John Vance from Bristol will be exhibiting free standing wood puzzles and ceramic tile cutting boards respectively.
Kelly Desmond from Geneva will be back with her crafted pillows, Marge Vermatt from Batavia will showcase fall florals, Karen Swanberry of Aurora will bring original watercolors and Stephanie Andrews of Batavia will display her silk tie purses.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
