A firefighter suffered minor injuries in a fall at a fire in the Northwest Side's Montclare neighborhood, authorities said.
The fire broke out about 12:30 a.m. in the first floor of a three-story building in the 3000 block of North Harlem Avenue, according to the Chicago Fire Department's media office.
Fire officials elevated it to a still-and-box alarm, bringing dozens of firefighters to the scene. The fire was out by 12:53 a.m.
The injured firefighter was taken to a hospital and listed in good condition. Six people refused treatment from paramedics, according to fire officials.
