Marching against violence

Community leaders and members of Greater St. John Bible Church, left to right, CPD 25th district commander Hector Rodriguez, CPD 15th district commander Barbara West, WIllie Willliams jr (father of slain teen Willie Williams III in the photo he is holding), Rev. Robin Hood, State senate candidate Dr. Patricia Van Pelt Watkins, 78th District State Rep. Camille Lilly, and 25th Ward Alderman Deborah Graham, lead an anti-violence march through their West Side neighborhood in Chicago. Hundreds of members of a West Side church took to the streets today, calling for a halt to the gun violence they say has devastated parts of the city and demanding justice in the Trayvon Martin case.
