The Long Count

Gene Tunney is knocked down for the famous "Long Count" in the match against Jack Dempsey at Soldier Field Sept. 22, 1927. Tunney survived a seventh-round knockdown when the referee delayed the count because Dempsey didn’t go to a neutral corner.
