Eileen Durkin has been named president and chief executive of Community Counseling Centers of Chicago, a North Side community mental health agency providing services to 12,000 adults and children. Durkin will make the move March 19, after 11 years as CEO of the Victor C. Neumann Association Inc., a Chicago non-profit that assists people with developmental disabilities and mental illness. Previously, she was executive director of the Howard Brown Health Center on Chicago's North Side and held various positions with Resurrection Health Care. Durkin has an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago and bachelor's degrees in medical record administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and in history from the University of Charleston in West Virginia. Durkin replaces Anthony Kopera, who will retire in March after 32 years as the agency's CEO.
