Remembrance Day is followed immediately by the 63rd anniversary of the creation of <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO0000010" title="Israel" href="/topic/international/israel-PLGEO0000010.topic">Israel</a> in 1948 according to the Jewish calendar. At least 25,310 Israelis have been killed in combat or Arab attacks since 1860.
