Pet Python saved from fire

Clarence Jones rescued his Burmese python from an extra-alarm fire that damaged his home, a church and other buildings in the 5000 block of West Chicago Avenue on Monday. "I guess cats ain't the only thing with nine lives," Jones said. One person was taken to the hospital because of an asthma condition, according to a <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORGOV000077" title="Chicago Fire Department" href="/topic/disasters-accidents/fires/chicago-fire-department-ORGOV000077.topic">Chicago Fire Department</a> spokesman.
