April 1, Cleveland, Ohio. It was Opening Day for the free-spending White Sox and it was, as he said, "pretty special" for $56-million man Adam Dunn. He homered, doubled and drove in four runs in a 15-10 victory over the Indians. It made for a great story and a grand feeling of optimism as the jokes flew about being the first team to go 162-0. Who knew at the time it was a cruel April's Fool joke?
