David Potash has been named president of Wilbur Wright College, one of the seven City Colleges of Chicago, effective in July. Potash, 49, will bring more than 20 years of higher education administrative experience to the Northwest Side community college. Potash most recently was chief academic officer at Curry College, a four-year institution in Milton, Mass. Before that, he was an administrator for 10 years in the City University of New York system at Hunter College and Baruch College, and before that at New York University. Potash has a Ph.D. in history from the University of Cambridge.
