Progressive Grater Set

This mostly well-designed tool kit has blades set at a friendly angle for easy grating action, and the single-direction blades are sharp enough to create light shreds of cheese and pleasantly coarse carrot shards. We found the extra fine blade to be ineffective on our ingredients. More intriguing was the two-way slicer blade that worked like a mandoline to produce clean, even potato slices. (Our carrot proved too hard to slice.) The attached container kept things neat but does not have a lid for storage. It's at $12
