UPDATE: Chicago police say that an unidentified toddler who had been found on the West Side this morning has been reunited with his family. Police had no other details.
Police are asking for the public's help identifying a boy who was found today walking alone near Douglas Park on the West Side in the city's Lawndale neighborhood.
A group of residents flagged down officers after spotting the boy, who is believed to be about 2-years-old, walking alone about 5:15 a.m. on the 1300 block of South Fairfield Avenue, police said.
The toddler is between 18 and 24 months-old police said, with a medium brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes.
