Two men who were shot in the Bronzeville neighborhood early this morning took themselves to a South Side hospital, police said.
Someone shot a 26-year-old in the face and a 29-year-old in the arm at 12:40 a.m. in the 4300 block of South Michigan Avenue, according to Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
The victims told police they were outside hanging out, relaxing and drinking when gunmen who were in group approached them and began firing 10 to 20 shots from at least two separate guns, according to another police source.
Zala said the victims took themselves to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center where they were both in "stable" condition.
Zala said no arrests have been made.
