A smoldering copy of the green book

A smoldering copy of the green book written Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi after it was burned by residents of the north-central Libyan town of Benghazi shows a past image of the Libyan leader at the United Nations Security Council. Gadhafi warned the West against intervening to support the rebellion against him, saying that would unleash a "very bloody war" in which "thousands of Libyans would die."
