Brrrr ... freeze warning issued for Chicago area

Clear skies will bring temperatures in the 30s for most of the Chicago area overnight, with freezing temperatures possible in some suburban areas.

The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning for the Chicago area until 8 a.m. Saturday.

Temperatures were expected to remain in the 40s in Chicago itself but most of the suburbs would reach into the 30s.

Saturday was forecast to start out sunny but turn partly cloudy, with highs in the 50s, but frost was possible again Saturday night.
