Activists protest atop Pilsen coal plant chimney

Eight <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORNPR0000049" title="Greenpeace" href="/topic/environmental-issues/greenpeace-ORNPR0000049.topic">Greenpeace</a> activists climb the smokestack at the Fisk power plant in the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100501257000" title="Pilsen" href="/topic/us/illinois/cook-county/chicago/pilsen-PLGEO100100501257000.topic">Pilsen</a> neighborhood Tuesday. The activists scaled the stack at about dawn and plan to stay until the plants' owner, Midwest Generation, hears their concerns, said Edyta Sitko, Greenpeace field organizer in Chicago.
