Girl, 16, sentenced in Schaumburg hammer attack

Rajesh Thakkar, the victim of a hammer attack by a minor, leaves the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO1001005011200000" title="Rolling Meadows" href="/topic/us/illinois/cook-county/rolling-meadows-PLGEO1001005011200000.topic">Cook County</a> Court House in Rolling Meadows today following the sentencing of his attacker. Thakkar lost an eye in the attack and nearly died.
