Morning salutations

Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, and wife Patricia, arrive at the Dirksen U.S. Courthouse for his corruption trial. The day before, Blagojevich's loose tongue finally led prosecutors to ask U.S. District Judge James Zagel to muzzle out-of-court statements by Blagojevich as well as his legal team. Zagel didn't immediately act but said he would reluctantly consider the idea if prosecution and defense lawyers couldn't agree among themselves on ground rules for policing what was said in public. He told the two sides to meet and report back to him by Monday, June 21.Antonio Perez, Chicago Tribune
