Kenny Williams

Chicago White Sox general manager Kenny Williams during a team workout at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago in 2008. Williams is one of the highest ranking African Americans in baseball. He experienced the Civil Rights movement through his father, who was a track athlete at San Jose State in the late ’60s and a contemporary and friend of John Carlos, Williams’ godfather, and Tommie Smith.
