Tribune reporter

An autopsy performed on a Roselle man who authorities said may have been stung to death by insects was inconclusive and further studies are needed to determine what killed him, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Bruce Madiar, 62,  died Monday evening at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village after apparently trying to clear an insect nest outside his Roselle home.

Authorities have no determined if insect stings caused his death after he was found Monday afternoon outside his home in the 500 block of Dee Lane as initial reports suggested.

A wake is set for Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St., Roselle. Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Walter Church, 130 W. Pine Ave., Roselle.
