Funeral arrangements have been made public for a bicyclist killed when she was run over by a dump truck Friday night.
Jacqueline Marie Michon died after she slipped under a dump truck stopped at a stoplight at 227 N. Wabash Ave. about 10:45 p.m. Friday, authorities said.
A Chicago resident who worked as a fitness instructor, Michon was a native of Michigan and will be given a funeral and burial there, according to information from a Detroit-area funeral home.
A wake will be held Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. at O'Brien-Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi, Mich., (248) 348-1800. A visitation will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, with a funeral at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 46325 W. Ten Mile Road, Novi.
Michon's family requested that donations be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters, 915 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 7, Howell, Mich., 48843, or Special Olympics Michigan, Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant, Mich., 48859.
