Anthony Molinaro

Anthony Molinaro: Exploring the Music of the Beatles: Aside from making up the past century's best-known music catalog, the Beatles' songs tend to be tightly, brilliantly structured works, thus giving jazz-classical pianist Molinaro solid jumping-off points for his virtuosic, improvisatory interpretations. This winner of the 1997 Naumburg International Piano Competition and Loyola University Chicago music professor will be performing selections from his new album "Here, There and Everywhere: Arrangements and Improvisations on the Music of the Beatles" and talking with Tribune jazz critic Howard Reich.
