Rock and Worship Roadshow Tour

Some of the top Christian music groups bring the spirit for the Rock and Worship Roadshow Tour. The lineup: Rock band MercyMe ("The Generous Mr. Lovewell"); the socially conscious Tenth Avenue North (advocates for the Not For Sale Campaign that brings awareness of human trafficking); Stellar Award-winning rapper Lecrae; Hawk Nelson, the Canadian rockers that can be serious with their music and have fun too (at one show they put on mullet wigs and did a cover of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'"); metal heads Disciple; contemporary worship duo Sidewalk Prophets; and the Rend Collective Experiment, a collection of musicians and artists that make music, according to the group's website, that is journey music for all, not just the religious. Why go: You can't beat the price to get a message with your music. Reconsider: You don't feel comfortable at a praise party. Details: 7 p.m. Thursday at Sears Centre, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, Hoffman Estates; $10; 847-649-2270, searscentre.com
