Don’t miss the ultimate foodie event, The Baltimore Sun's Secret Supper

'Eat to the Beat'

Move away from the computer, to-do tasks on your desk or school assignment -- at least for an hour -- and take a cultural lunch break at Eat to the Beat. The Harris Theater's performance art series begins with a program by DanceWorks Chicago, a returning crowd pleaser. This performance will include a preview of Nelly van Bommel's "Addio Amore." You can stay for the whole hour, or drop in for as long as you can. Why go: To have a little culture with your soup and sandwich (you can bring your own lunch or grab something from one of the food trucks on lower Randolph Drive outside the theater). Reconsider: If you've got a half-hour for lunch and the boss wants you to use 15 minutes. Details: Noon Thursday at Harris Theater for Music and Dance, Millennium Park, 205 E. Randolph Drive; $5; 312-334-7777,
