Kevin Pollak

It's hard to tell when a comedian is being serious because it's their job to make you think they are not serious; even when they are serious. Kevin Pollak has managed to wear the face of a comedic and dramatic actor without clouding his identity, with roles in dramas including "A Few Good Men" and "Casino." But seriously, he's pretty funny too, having started his comedy studies as a kid watching Bill Cosby, Lenny Bruce, Jonathan Winters and Johnny Carson.

Why go: Besides jokes, Pollak brings a line of impersonations including Christopher Walken, William Shatner and Robert De Niro.

Reconsider: If you are looking for an evening of impressions by Pollak; his stand-up is more life-experience funny stories these days.
