Jeremy Roenick was incredibly skilled on the ice and very out-spoken off it, making the center one of the most popular players in Blackhawks history. Known as "J.R.," Roenick was the Hawks' top pick (eighth overall) in the 1988 NHL entry draft and played in Chicago from '88-96. Of Roenick's nine NHL All-Star Game appearances during his 18-season career, four of them came while as a member of the Hawks. Roenick was a two-time 50-goal scorer for the Hawks before going on to play for five other NHL teams. The Boston, native was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2010.
