Gina Marie Clayland, 53, of Taneytown, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 22, 2014, at home.
Born July 9, 1960, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Samuel R. Clayland, of Taneytown, and the late Lucille Brocato Clayland.
She was a chef at the Bachman Valley Inn in Manchester for several years. She previously worked as a waitress at Cockey's Tavern in Westminster and as manager of Blockbuster's in Westminster.
She enjoyed being in the sun and spending time with her family.
Surviving, in addition to her father, are a sister, Sherrie A. Keeney, of Westminster; brothers Samuel R. Clayland Jr. and wife Crystal, and Daniel E. Clayland, all of Ocean City, and William D. Clayland, of Westminster; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Stanley Keeney.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, with prayers being offered by Monsignor Martin E. Feild at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
