Carroll schools to hold meeting for community feedback on RSCC report

Carroll County Public Schools will hold a community meeting next month to get feedback from the recently released Redistricting and School Closure Committee report.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m Oct. 1 in Winters Mill High School, 560 Gorsuch Road, Westminster, according to a news release from CCPS.

RSCC facilitator David Lever, as well as Superintendent Steven Lockard and staff, will be in attendance to listen to feedback and answer questions, according to the release.

Comments and suggestions may be submitted online at rscc@carrollk12.org or by U.S. mail to the Superintendent’s Office, Carroll County Public Schools, 125 North Court Street, Westminster, MD 21157.

The superintendent will make his recommendation to the Board of Education at its Oct. 10 meeting, and the recommendation will return to the board for approval on Nov. 14, according to the release.
