The Parents Television Council is shocked that sex sells (specifically Kate Upton) , Apple shares are tumbling, more questions are being asked about the death of Aaron Swartz and most shocking of all -- we may be experiencing a chicken wing famine mere days before the Super Bowl!
Sports Illustrated cover model Kate Upton is starring in a new Super Bowl commercial for Mercedes Benz where she "convinces" some jocks to help her wash her car (a Mercedes Benz of course). Somehow we should be outraged that a supermodel is being used to sell products. Meanwhile, the video has more than three million views already on YouTube.
Apple sales of the iPhone 5 were lower than expected over the holiday season, sending the shares of tech giant on the New York Stock Exchange lower this morning. Wait for the way premature: "Is Apple over?" pieces to flood the net in a few hours. In other tech news, Rolling Stone explores the connection between Aaron Swartz's suicide and the Justice Department's investigation of the computer expert before his death.
Finally, Hillary Clinton returned to the limelight yesterday after suffering from a series health problem late last year. She ripped Republican Senators a new one over their Benghazi conspiracy theories and went out in style. Today, she'll introduce John Kerry who is set to replace her as Secretary of State.
