Google is slowly releasing more and more information about its Project Glass, a revolutionary effort to meld computing technology with glasses.
Imagine being presented with information about the world around you as you experience it with your vision.
In some ways, it seems these Google glasses, which will run on the Android mobile platform, is a way for Google to leapfrog past the smartphone as the go-to digital device for many. If you had glasses that were "smart," you'd probably use your smartphone a little less. Checking weather, taking pictures, keeping track of appointments -- the glasses can do all that and more.
Watch Google's video about the project, which is still in testing.
