Media: Tribune finalizes property purchase

Tribune Co., parent company of The Sun's publisher, Baltimore Sun Media Group, said yesterday that it has finalized the $175 million purchase of eight former Times Mirror properties. The purchase includes Baltimore properties where The Sun is produced as well as properties used by Tribune-owned newspapers the Los Angeles Times, Newsday and the Hartford Courant.
