The Harbor Point developer said Tuesday that a new Hilton brand has signed on to take the hotel space in its next office building.
Canopy by Hilton, launched last year as a locally-focused brand, will occupy 156 rooms on the top four floors of a 12-story office building that Beatty Development Group is planning next to the Morgan Stanley Thames Street Wharf property. The hotel will also include a restaurant.
Beatty Development plans to break ground next year on the Wills Street Wharf building, the fourth in the 27-acre transformation of the site of a former chromium plant. The building also includes ground floor retail and 225,000 square feet of office space.
