Extension educator to focus on fruit production
Pochubay will provide leadership and focus for fruit crop production management. She will be responsible for developing and conducting research and educational training programs to address the priority needs of the Michigan fruit industry. She also will participate in research and joint extension/outreach programming with other MSU fruit experiment stations.
Pochubay will be based at the MSU Northwest Michigan Horticultural Research Station in Leelanau County. She obtained her bachelor's and master's degrees in entymology from Michigan State University, and recently has worked with the university as a laboratory technician in its Organic Pest Management Lab.
