No. 7: eBay Inc./PayPal( Handout photo / December 1, 2012 )
The Timonium branch of global financial services and technology company eBay/PayPal has put down roots in Maryland, through such philanthropic efforts as Habitat for Humanity, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and eBay's Give Foundation, which has contributed more than $60,000 to central Maryland nonprofits since 2009. Employees point to the company's "tremendous team spirit" as a reason they love their jobs: "The team [has] a great sense of communication internally and with the customer," one said. In addition to an on-site gym and several annual office celebrations, the 585 Baltimore staff members also enjoy free Orioles tickets and access to an employees-only suite at Ravens Stadium.
