No. 5: Notre Dame Preparatory School( Jen Rynda, Patuxent Publishing / February 24, 2012 )
Employees rave about Notre Dame Preparatory School: "It is an honor to work in this institution," said one. The independent, Roman Catholic college preparatory school enrolls about 730 girls in grades six through 12 and is infused with the mission of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, who founded the school in 1873 to "foster academic excellence, spiritual growth, and practice of social justice." As one employee put it, "Our values of faith and love are at the root of everything we do." Faculty and staff feel their work is supported by the administration and has real impact: "We are doing important work with bright, motivated young women. I love seeing how excited the teachers and students are about learning and growing each day."
