Call 4 Health, a medical call center and nurse triage service, plans to expand its call center operation in Linthicum Heights and add 150 agents and nurses, the Delray Beach, Fla.-based firm announced.
Call 4 Health now processes up to 33,000 calls daily for 1,800 clients, which mainly include hospitals and healthcare systems, but also homecare, hospice and pharmaceutical companies. The expansion is expected to increase the company’s capacity to 50,000 calls a day.
“With the demand for medical call center services skyrocketing in recent years, our expansion in Maryland will greatly help us manage a dramatically increased call volume,” said Joseph Pores, CEO of Call 4 Health.
The expansion to 6,000 square feet of space will be completed in September.
In addition to centers in Florida and Maryland, Call 4 Health also recently opened a call center in Spring Hill, Tenn.
