Trader Joe's will finally arrive in Broward County on Oct. 10.

That's the day the popular grocer will open at 11960 Pines Blvd. in Pembroke Pines, the chain announced Tuesday.

Trader Joe's is sought after for its affordable, organic products and uncommon product selection, such as wasabi roasted seaweed snacks. It's also popular for its inexpensive "Two-Buck Chuck" wines, Speculoos Cookie Butter and Joe-Joe's cookies.

Most of the grocer's products carry the company's private label, a guarantee to customers that the items are free of preservatives, artificial colors and artificial ingredients.

Another Trader Joe's is expected to debut in Fort Lauderdale next year at 1590 N. Federal Highway. An opening date for that location has not been announced.

Three Trader Joe's are slated to open in Palm Beach County in September: Sept. 5 at 1851 S. Federal Highway in Delray Beach, Sept. 19 at 2560 PGA Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens and Sept. 26 at 855 S. Federal Highway in Boca Raton.

The Pembroke Pines store will open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

The California-based retailer has more than 400 stores in 40 states.
