Cheng Lai Fu and Ruojing Li, both from China and living in Baltimore, had never experienced Black Friday shopping before. "Mostly we shop online," Fu said.
They started at Arundel Mills at midnight, where Li said she stood in long lines, almost an hour at Express, to get clothing for half price.
"I'm a little bit tired," Li said around 6 a.m. Friday.
The couple was less impressed with deals at Walmart in Towson, where they ended up by 5:00 Friday morning, buying a table and bookshelves.
Arundel Mills "is much better than here," Fu said.
