Sharon Andrejczuk of Dundalk had done her Christmas shopping for her four grandchildren but by 8:30 a.m she was ready to pick something up for herself.

Andrejczuk, 56, was buying a light-up Christmas tree decoration that played music at Macy's.

She picked up some clothes at the mall but was headed to The Loft at The Avenue.

But she was not among the overnight crowds.

"That was just not happening," she said. Instead, she stuck to her annual Black Friday morning tradition.

But she said she felt like the deals weren't as good this year.

"I don't think I am getting the same buys," she said.
