Managers of White Marsh Mall offered more details today about mall upgrades, a day after announcing that Boscov's department store will return to the shopping center in October.
Boscov's had closed its store at the mall nearly four years ago after it filed for bankruptcy, but now is in expansion mode.
Some vendors will remodel, including Cajun Café & Grill, G'lato d'Italia and Dairy Queen. The food court will get a new look with upgraded furniture and lighting.
The mall is also starting to renovate exterior entrances with new lighting and signs.
Construction should be completed by the end of August. A new restaurant, Buca di Beppo, will open Sept. 1, along with new retailers Skecher's, (which opened in April) Mattress Warehouse, opening later this month, and Deb Shops, opening in the fall.
White Marsh Mall renovations starting Sunday
