Pier 1 Imports and Marshalls will open new stores in Hunt Valley Towne Centre this spring, said developer Greenberg Gibbons.
The stores will fill a former Best Buy space.
Pier 1, a seller of imported furniture and home decor, is taking more than 10,000 square feet, while Marshalls, known for brand name apparel at a discount, will open a more than 30,000-square-foot store.
"We are thrilled to welcome such successful, nationally known retailers to Hunt Valley Towne Centre," said Tom Fitzpatrick, president of Greenberg Gibbons, also the developer of Annapolis Towne Centre.
Hunt Valley Towne Centre is six miles north of I-695 on Shawan Road between I-83 and York Road.
In a separate announcement, the developer said eight restaurants and stores will open by November at Turf Valley Towne Square, a community shopping center in Ellicott City anchored by Harris Teeter. New food offerings include Facci, Grille 620, Xitomate, Red Parrot and Mimi's Kabobs, while new retailers include Inspire hair salon, Smyth jewelers, and Petite Cellars wine and beer shop.
