Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics will open its first Baltimore store early this summer at Harbor East.
The retailer bills itself as offering "ethical" skin care, hair care and bath and body products.
It will open its fourth Maryland store at 1001 Aliceanna Street, Harbor East representatives said, joining national retailers Under Armour Brand House, J.Crew, Anthropologie, lululemon athletica, MAC Cosmetics, City Sports and White House/Black Market along with regional and local shops.
Lush started 19 years ago with a goal of having the least possible impact on the environment while producing innovative products. It has 900 shops worldwide, including at Towson Town Center and The Mall in Columbia.
All products are 100 percent vegetarian, 82 percent vegan, and 60 percent preservative-free, with no animal testing used in production. Products include cleansing rolls at a skin care bar, Bath Bombs, bars of solid shampoos and face masks on ice.
