IRS: Taxpayers can claim education credits starting Valentine's

Because of the delay by Congress to address last year’s expiring tax cuts, the IRS has had less time to update its forms and systems. That’s postponed the start of the tax season until Jan. 30 for everyone. But some filers have had to wait even longer because the IRS still hasn't updated all the forms.
