It's a busy time for store openings for some Baltimore-area malls.
News of White Marsh Mall getting Boscov's department store back this fall has been followed by more announcements this week from other regional centers.
Eileen Fisher, a national women's apparel boutique that calls itself "eco-conscious," will open its first Baltimore-area store in September at Hunt Valley Towne Centre in Hunt Valley, said Greenberg Gibbons, the center's developer.
The brand is known for using sustainable fabrics and designs with clean lines and simple shapes. Construction of the 6,200-square-foot store has started.
And Bagels 'n' Grinds, where customers will be able to view a baking area with a glass-enclosed water treatment facility, opened in late April near Arundel Mills mall in Hanover.
At the shop on Arundel Mills Boulevard, restaurateur Adam Greenberg promises 16 varieties of bagels, made with ultra-purified water, and six homemade spreads. Greenberg says the water treatment facility will make three types of water, used in bagel making as well as in the shop's organic coffees.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
